Cisco VOIP Engineer Montreal, QC, Canada (Hybrid - 2/3 Days onsite per week) 12 Months
Must: Mostly voice project work, but also voice level 3 troubleshooting and Video server management.
Duties in scope:
Level 3 BAU support of Callmanager, Unity Voicemail and Unified CallCenter Express
Active participation in the upgrade of the above mentitoned systems to version 14.1, incl. planning, upgrading and testing before August 2024
Active participating in the planning for upgrading to version 15 for the above systems
Level 3 troublshooting of those systems
Working with the vendor Cisco in case of issues
Documenting and/or updating documenation of the above
Cisco video server configuration/maintenance (VCS and Expressway)
Not mandatory skills, but preferred would be experience with in configuration and operation/maintenance of
Oracle Session Border Controller(SBC) and
Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker (ECB)
Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor
Integration of PSTN telephone with TEAMS
Vitec (formerly Exterity) IPTV solution
Key Competencies
Strong team player
Strong communication and documentation skills
At least 5 years’ experience as a level 3 engineer in the above-mentioned products
Can work independently.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Indepth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, incl. Voice Gatewyas
Indepth knowledge of Cisco Callmanager, esp. version 12 and above
Good working knowledge of Unity and UCCx
Working knowledge of Oracle SBC and ECB preferable
Working knowledge of Cisco Video servers (VCS and Expressway) and Cisco Video endpoints
