Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Locations (must be open to both):

• Alameda Crossing: 1719 N Dysart Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392

• Peoria: 6611 W. Peoria Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302

Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Parking: On site

Roles and Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vital signs

• Provide basic patient care

• Manage medical tasks efficiently

• Collaborate with clinicians to create positive outcomes

• Partner with other staff to ensure smooth patient flow and quality care

Certifications / Qualifications

• Preferred: Medical Assistant (MA) certification for AZ; Phlebotomy required

• Graduation from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program accredited by:

  • Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or

  • Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools or

  • Completion of relevant Medical Assistant training in any branch of the armed forces

  • OR possession of a Medical Assistant certification issued by a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute

Accepted Certifications (active or previously active):

• AMCA – American Medical Certification Association

• AMT – American Medical Technologists

• AAMA – American Association of Medical Assistants

• NHA – National Healthcareer Association

• NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing
