Job Description

Title: Care Navigator
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote (Texas)


Job Responsibilities:
  • These positions work in a Call Center setting where the contractors are on a phone queue
  • Day to Day responsibilities - Inbound call center, assist and educate Medicaid members on benefits and Services such as PCP Changes, ID Cards and Coordinate transportation and other services.
Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:
  • Adherence – 90% or above
  • Quality – 95% or above
Tell me about what their first day looks like:
  • Day 1/week 1: Issued password, badging, laptop, equipment, ensure systems access, and will start Centene University training throughout the first week.
  • Training: After week 1, will be set up with trainer for day-to-day visibility into role.
Internal/External Groups with which the Candidate will interface:  
Required Skills/Experience:   Preferred Skills/ Experience:  
1. Call Center, Medical Background, Working with the Aging, Blind and Disabled Population 1. Background in Managed Care
2. Great customer service 2. Bilingual preferred; we have a language line they could use if they are not bilingual
3. At least 4 years of combined work experience
 
3. MCO insurance
Education Requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent Education Preferred: Preferred BA in Social Work or Healthcare Mgmt, LVN, CNA, CMA, RT, Pharmacy Tech
Software Skills Required: Will be using various software on the job: Microsoft Office Suite, Avaya, Zoom, Skype
