Job Title: Business Data Analyst Location: 100% Remote OR Santa Monica, CA (PST work hours) Duration: 12 Months
Description: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as analytics and operations analyst. Reporting into the Sr. Director of US Commercial Operations, this analyst will contribute to all aspects of field force operations and analytics with primary responsibilities including Support business functions and decision making by executing ad-hoc data requests, preparing and organizing data for analysis, assisting in operational process design and evaluation, creating presentations and reports, and recommending process improvements. This member will operate as part of the US Sales Analytics & Operations (SAO) team which guides the development and delivery of timely, actionable insights to support US Sales strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute ad-hoc data requests to support various business functions and decision-making processes.
Prepare, clean, and organize data for thorough analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of operational processes and systems.
Create presentations and reports for management and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to data visualization principles.
Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend improvements for optimization.
Required Skills and qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in analytics and/or operations.
Advanced Excel skills required, including proficiency with pivot tables.
Experience with data visualization and data processing tools such as Tableau and SQL.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; including detailing business processes, use cases, and business requirements.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with database management and data warehousing concepts.
