Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (Workday) Duration: 2+ months (Potential extension for the right candidate) Location: Remote
Qualifications • Subject Matter Expert in Workday Security, Reporting, Dashboards and other functional support as needed • Analyze, Design, Test and Implement security configurations within the Workday platform to ensure it aligns with People Data Governance’s overall Persona Data Access Strategy • Knowledgeable in analyzing current security configurations and creating consistent requirements for People Data Governance review and approval • Reponsible for building and supporting Workday Reporting expertise with complex calculated fields, matrix, composite, advanced, and simple types of reports. Knowledge of Workday hierarchies and Business Objects and impact on security. • Responsible for security impact analysis for ongoing support activities and projects, reporting, and persona requests/enhancements • Troubleshooting/problem solving activities impacting Workday Security and Workday Reporting • Consistent and ongoing interaction with People Data Governance and Product Owner, Security, Reporting & Analytics Team • Assist with management of Service Now Security Queue both for Security and Reporting • Create and maintain Workday Security and Reporting documentation • Other duties as assigned
Job description: The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. An entry level business systems analyst typically has a Bachelors degree in a computer related major with broad knowledge and experience related to computer systems and technologies. As the levels progress, the years experience increase along with leadership expectations, with the introduction of a supervisory role at Level 4. The technical skills, including using computer technology to meet the needs of the organization, increase across levels, starting from basic at Level 1 to expert at Level 5.
Education
Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the testing, maintenance, and monitoring of computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
Advise clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs
Advise management on current system principles and necessary updates and recommendations
Supervise the expansion or modification of system to serve new purposes or improve work flow
Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed
Train staff and users to work with computer systems and programs
