Title: Business Analyst IV Location: Houston, TX, 77079- Hybrid Duration: 12 months
Description: We seek someone who will proactively contribute to a high-performing team supporting our GTM Commercial customers via ideation, workshop & meeting facilitation, presentation, requirements gathering and documentation, road mapping, and process improvement.
Here’s what you will do:
Identify and ideate with business customers on areas of focus, application roadmap, and process improvements
Facilitate meetings/workshops and prepare business presentations and business cases.
Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications
Assists the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes
Assist in preparing project-related documents and organizational change management (OCM) communication
Track projects as needed—project tasks, cost and timeline, budget, issues, change requests, status, etc.
Partner with the development team to provide reporting and status on project deliverables
Coordinate and participate in Testing activities
Assist in software package deployment for business customers
Who you are:
Related University Degree 5+ years’ experience
Complete understanding of the software development lifecycle
Experienced with Agile Methodology to effectively prioritize and execute multiple assignments through a myriad of changing business processes and shifting priorities
Ability to translate technical information into terms understandable by non-IT savvy personnel
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Highly motivated and passionate to pursue the development of strategic plans and creative thinking to make progress in a challenging, complex, and technical environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong customer service focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our business partners
Willingness to build collaborative relationships
The following are considered assets:
Degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or related technical discipline or equivalent
Prior experience working with Gas Pipeline Transmission applications
Experience with Azure DevOps
