Our Data Centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates to deliver our innovative products. The Data Center Business Operations team is seeking a technically minded Business Analyst to support the cost and schedule programs for the global data center organization. In this role, you will be expected to help analyze our capital investment portfolio across the data center organization by using analytical rigor to drive alignment and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
 
Business Analyst Responsibilities
• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to help inform and influence key business decisions around capital investment for the global data center organization
• Support spend and schedule analytics, and key metrics to help drive actionable strategies for the business
• Perform deep-dive analyses to deliver insights on the root causes of issues through data pipelines and dashboard presentations
• Ensure data accuracy for decision-making and prioritization for the business through analyzing data and identifying trends
• Convey a data-driven story to technical and non-technical audiences around key business insights
 
Minimum Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in managing costs in technology infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience with SQL (or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools, including using advanced functionality (e.g. data blending)
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, and defining recommended actions across technical and non-technical groups
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships
 
Must-Have Skills
  1. 3+ years of experience with SQL and Tableau (or equivalent)
  2. 3+ years of experience working with data visualization tools, including using advanced functionality (e.g. data blending)
  3. Financial acumen, Experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, and defining recommended actions across technical and non-technical groups
  4. 8+ years of experience in managing costs in technology infrastructure, and managing some stakeholder relationships
 
Nice-to-have Skills
  1. Any previous data centre experience
