The contractor Business Analyst will operate within the CMD Sales Systems & Process / Digital PPI framework to lead end-to-end analysis, design, and delivery of CPQ-driven transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
Current State Assessment Analyze the existing quote creation process across SFDC, Oracle CPQ, and SAP, including configurator usage, pricing workflows, DAM approvals, and quote publication
Synthesize field insights (AM, TSS, DM) to identify systemic inefficiencies, process bottlenecks, and data gaps Map end-to-end workflows, including integrations (SFDC CPQ SAP) Requirements Elicitation & Definition
Translate business pain points into structured functional and technical requirements
Capture AI/GenAI use cases (guided selling, automated configuration, intelligent recommendations, quote summarization, approval prediction) Solution Design & Alignment Partner with CPQ, SFDC, SAP, and Data/AI teams to design scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture
Ensure alignment with existing governance processes (e.g., DAM structure, data tables such as pricing, freight, lead time)
Define future-state workflows with reduced manual intervention and improved automation AI Enablement
Identify and prioritize AI-driven opportunities such as:
Guided configuration based on application/use case
Automated product recommendations and compatibility checks Intelligent discount guidance within DAM thresholds
Auto-generation of quote descriptions and customer-facing summaries
Collaborate with data science teams on feasibility and data readiness
Delivery & Implementation Support Support backlog creation, user story definition, and sprint execution
Participate in UAT, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and improve user experience
Define success metrics (time-to-quote, approval cycle time, quote accuracy, adoption)
Change Management & Adoption Develop documentation, process updates, and training inputs
Drive stakeholder alignment across Sales, TSS, Pricing, and Operations Support rollout and adoption tracking.
