Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst
: Thousand Oaks, CA 91361 - onsite daily, no hybrid schedule
Duration: 12 months
M-F 7am-4pm

Scope of Project: Gathers documents and research data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources as needed.

Top 5 required skills set:
  • Proficiency in gathering and understanding business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Objective evaluation of information.
  • Developing actionable solutions.
  • Understanding data management systems.
Industry experience: The candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to perform basic quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze data and information.

Years of experience: The candidate will possess minimum of one year of experience in the field of analysis.

Soft skills: Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Meter Service Requests (MSR) management including, posting and documenting inspections, customer applications
  • Pre set meter management
  • MSR exception management
  • Meter/MSR related reporting (SLA, Public Authority)
  • Gathers documents and research data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources as needed
  • Deals regularly with information and issues having a minor to moderate department and/or corporate impact
Required Skills:
  • Experience in administrative role
  • Experience with customer service, computer software, on?line applications, office equipment, and filing systems
  • Work order package splitting and preparation for construction and inspection
  • Provides information and support to the District and Hub, as needed
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of department policies, practices, and procedures
