Job Title: BSA Project Manager Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility of extension) Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and organized BSA Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience in project management within the financial services industry, specifically in asset management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing technology projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The role requires strong organizational, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of investment management and technology integration. Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and drive technology projects from initiation through to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment, quant, and technology teams, to define and document project requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, identify risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Facilitate meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Prepare and present clear, concise, and visually engaging project updates and presentations.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Ensure effective stakeholder management by understanding their needs and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
Work closely with development teams, vendors, and other departments to ensure that technology solutions are implemented on time and within scope.
Continuously assess and improve project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in project management within the financial services industry, ideally in asset management.
Strong knowledge of investment management processes, with a preference for experience in fixed income.
PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred.
Proven experience in managing technology-driven projects, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective meeting preparation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage expectations across multiple stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience with portfolio management systems or financial technology tools.
Knowledge of fixed income and investment technology solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
