Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced xECSEngineer with deep expertise in OpenText Extended ECS, SAP S/4HANA integration, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating enterprise content management solutions using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Deployment
Design and implement OpenText xECM infrastructure on AWS using IaC (EKS Fargate, RDS, S3, VPC, Load Balancers)
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for automated xECM deployment
Containerize OpenText Content Server and related components using Docker
Manage container registry operations and image lifecycle (ECR, OpenText registry)
Implement auto-scaling, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for xECM on AWS
OpenText xECM & Documentum
Install, configure, and maintain OpenText Extended ECM for SAP (xECM) components
Administer Documentum Content Server, D2, and related applications
Configure Documentum repositories, workflows, and business object models
Perform Documentum version upgrades and patch management
Validate document storage, retrieval, retention policies, and archival processes
Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux)
Scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Database administration (PostgreSQL)
SSL/TLS certificates and security
Load balancing and high availability architectures
Monitoring and logging tools
Certifications (Preferred)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
OpenText Documentum Administration certification
SAP Certified Technology Associate
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences)

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP Fiori apps for document management
Knowledge of OpenText Archive Server and Records Management
Understanding of compliance requirements (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA)
Experience with OpenText API integrations (REST/SOAP)
Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP Cloud Platform
Experience with Blue/Green or Canary deployment strategies
Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Master's degree preferred
Experience
7+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years in enterprise content management systems
3+ years in cloud infrastructure and DevOps
3+ years in SAP integration projects
