Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, resilience, disaster recovery, and cost optimization
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience building or supporting AWS Platform / Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) environments preferred
Role Summary Client is seeking an experienced AWS Enterprise / Solutions Architect to support Cloud Center of Excellence (COE) initiatives. The architect will lead AWS cloud architecture design, governance, and enterprise guardrails while ensuring alignment with AWS best practices and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead AWS Landing Zone and Control Tower / AFT assessments and enhancements
Define multi-account AWS strategies, environment separation, and shared services architecture
Design IAM architecture including roles, permission boundaries, and AWS Identity Center integration
Define network architecture, segmentation, routing, and connectivity guardrails
Establish enterprise tagging standards, naming conventions, and security/compliance guardrails
Create and maintain AWS reference architectures and golden paths for EC2, ECS, EKS, and Serverless workloads
Collaborate with DevOps teams to define policy-as-code standards
Provide architectural guidance for disaster recovery, resilience, RTO/RPO, and SRE best practices
Review AWS workload designs and provide architectural oversight
Develop COE documentation, standards, and onboarding materials
Experience Required: 14+ Years Preferred Certifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
AWS Certified Security – Specialty
