General Description:
The Client is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join the Office of Global Clinical Operations (GCO) team. This role will be responsible for leading Global Clinical Operations (GCO) initiatives and analyzing/maintaining GCO data and metrics. The role will provide project management and Change management support across multiple projects.  Cross-functional outreach and communication will be a component of this role.
 
Essential Functions of the job:
Business and Data Analyst Activities
  • Lead data consolidation & analytics for specific data/information deliverables.
  • Implement, review and scrutinize quantitative/qualitative data analyses for accuracy and nuances.
  • Oversee data reconciliations to identify data anomalies.
  • Field escalated data issues needing process re-engineering.
  • Oversee process re-engineering efforts and ensure end-to-end business process documentation and implementation.
  • Develop, document and update business process documents.
  • Develop reports for, track, and present department metrics to GCO level leadership.
  • Monitor department metrics to identify risks and set goals for GCO.
  • Evaluate internally built temporary and long-term business solutions.
  • Model and demonstrate business solution logic.
  • Support in proposal formulation for business solutions and SAAS vendors.
  • Prepare and present data reports, training materials, business presentations, and other educational materials.
 
Project Management Activities for assigned projects
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the methodology, system(s), and tactical process for managing the portfolio of GCO projects.
  • Support the Office of GCO team members in the implementation of a framework and methodology for GCO project prioritization and ensure alignment with annual goals, and strategic imperatives.
  • Maintain GCO project statuses and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on recent accomplishments, key stakeholder specific impacts, upcoming activities, and key risks
  • In collaboration with the project team establish and maintain project charter and scope documents.
  • Establish and drive timely execution of actionable project plans for the projects. 
  • Support the project teams in the development of business cases for key GCO projects to assess and quantify business opportunity across key criteria (i.e. cost saving, improvement to compliance and/or quality etc.) to enable ongoing prioritization.
  • Facilitate cross-functional project meetings to enable alignment, and advancement of key project deliverables.
  • Work with the cross-functional project teams to define, capture and track actions, decisions, issues, and risks to the project.

Education:
  • BA/BS or the equivalent in work experience
 
Computer Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user, Database/Data Warehouse experience preferred, Adobe, PowerBI, Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Smartsheet
 
Other Qualifications:  
  • Strong communication and organization, strong data analysis, attention to detail, 60+ WPM typing, advanced in Excel, understanding of Agile principles, strong understanding of data modeling, business analysis, project management, fluid presenter.
