Title: Associate Project Manager Lead
Duration: 10 months
Location: Remote


Job Description:
The Associate Project Manager Lead independently manages the end-to-end delivery of business projects. Projects are either high in complexity, large in scope, involve multiple platforms and involve the enterprise at either a national or multi-zone level. Ensure the planning and execution of phases meet the project scope, cost schedule and quality expectations approved by project stakeholders through the project's lifecycle

Top must-have technical skills / Candidate Requirements:
  • Managed Large Complex projects
  • Work to HCM (human capital management) or Saas projects
  • MS Project Intermediate - Advanced
  • MS Office Suite- Word, Excel and Ppt for presenting information
  • Experience with Agile Project Delivery Required
  • Manage end to end workstream delivery
  • Ability to work across functions such as Consulting company, Stakeholders and IT and build and maintain the relationships.
  • Escalate Risk and Issues coming from the workstream
Day to day responsibilities:
  • Overseeing their workstream from initiation to execution
  • All the activities from the deliverables- create a project plan
  • Agile Methodology
  • Status reporting will roll up from their workstream to the program level that will get shared with leadership
  • Ensure each work stream is moving per the schedule- keep track of timeline
  • "Come Together" calls- contractor may be asked to present to approximately, 200 people on the status of project; therefore, presentation skills are needed as well
  • Creates, maintains, facilitates, or oversees the completion of project management deliverables and artifacts (e.g., plans, schedules, budgets, resource staffing, status reports, project metrics)
  • Ensures the successful adoption of changes by collaborating or partnering with others to assist or lead the design and development of business change impact analysis, communication, training, stakeholder management plans and adoption measurement.
  • Develops and/or influences on appropriate project strategy and delivery.
  • Proactively takes action to assure delivery of various aspects of the project's process improvement or work efforts and mitigate risks.
Degrees or certifications required/Years of overall experience required:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) is a Plus; but certainly, a PMI (Project Management Institute) in project delivery if they don't have PMP certification
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher and 6 years' work experience
  • OR
  • High school diploma and a minimum 9 years of related work experience leading projects and project delivery.
What will separate an average candidate vs a great candidate on a resume?
  • Workday Experience from the Business side- configurations; worked with a business or on behalf the business.
  • A Business Manager and NOT an IT manager
  • Smartsheet - which is a PM tool to provide a clear view of the status of all projects in real time
  • Worked with Large Transformational projects will be a differentiator- Note: a transformational project takes an organization through a journey that fundamentally changes the way it functions on a day-to-day basis.
