Title: Assembly Tech Location: Redmond, WA 98052 Duration: 9 months Timings: Mon to Fri - 7:00AM - 3:30PM Or 3:00PM - 11:30PM
Key job responsibilities
Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
Assemble and test with emphasis to detail an assortment of avionic, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and related hardware
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
Your work may include contributing to improving work instructions and safety procedures
Additional Requirements:
Able to perform maintenance type of tasks around the lab that do not require special instructions.
Willing to work all shifts days, evenings, staggered shifts overtime and weekends as needed.
Flexible working and commuting in between site locations
Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
Able to liftup to 25lbs. unassisted
Skills:
Willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed.
