Job Title: Art Director Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid: Tue–Thu On-site / Mon & Fri Remote) Duration: 6 Months (C2H)
We are seeking an experienced Art Director who is a true multidisciplinary powerhouse. This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who goes beyond design layouts—someone who can craft compelling narratives, capture original content, and bring ideas to life through motion.
You will balance high-level brand strategy with a hands-on, “maker” mindset—working closely with brand strategists and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, performance-driven creative. A strong portfolio showcasing diverse, omnichannel campaigns (print, digital, social) is required.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Experience Design: Develop engaging customer experiences and touchpoints across digital and physical channels.
Agile Video Production: Lead lean, high-impact video shoots—from concepting and storyboarding to directing and camera operation—producing authentic content for social, web, and internal platforms.
Motion & Storytelling: Transform concepts and footage into dynamic visual stories using motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Digital Product Collaboration: Create high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, ensuring designs align with HTML/CSS capabilities and constraints.
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with brand managers, marketers, and data teams to translate complex insights into compelling, performance-driven creative—especially for B2B audiences.
Leadership & Ownership: Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, mentor junior designers, and oversee contractors or agency partners when needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Resourceful Maker: Hands-on creator who can deliver high-quality output with minimal resources; comfortable shooting content using DSLR or mobile devices.
Verbal & Visual Thinker: Ability to craft compelling copy that complements visual storytelling and ensures brand consistency.
Dynamic Storyteller: Strong understanding of motion, pacing, and digital storytelling beyond static design.
Technically Fluent: Deep understanding of how design translates into development, enabling seamless collaboration with engineers.
Technical Skills & Tools
Motion & Video: Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; hands-on experience with lighting, sound, and camera operation.
Adobe Creative Suite: Expert-level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Product & UX Design: Advanced experience with Figma (or similar tools) for web and app prototyping.
Web Fundamentals: Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for design feasibility and developer collaboration.
