Job Description

Job Title: Application Architect (IT)
Location: Chicago, IL (3 days onsite in a week)
Duration: 12 months
 
Job Description And Responsibilities:
  • FileNet Architect who will work on development projects and can also provide L3 support for Enterprise Document Management/Content Services applications (e.g. IBM FileNet, IBM Case Manager, IBM BAW, Kofax Total Agility). Strong system administration, programming, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to provide direction and technical advice to other team members. Prior extensive experience working with IBM's Case Manager and BAW products is required. Identify and understand issues and draw conclusions/resolutions.
 
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of Software Development experience
  • Experience with project feasibility, requirements definition, design, testing and project delivery.
  • Experience with both Agile and traditional Waterfall project methodologies.
 
Skills Needed:
  • IBM FileNet administration, development and configuration.
  • Extensive experience and working knowledge on IBM FileNet, Case Manager, Content Navigator, IBM Enterprise Records required.
  • Experience in patching/upgrading FileNet
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Extensive experience developing applications using Java, JavaScript, SQL
  • Extensive experience on a variety of application servers like WebLogic, WebSphere and Tomcat
  • Extensive experience with Oracle, MS SQL databases
  • Experience with Linux, Unix, Windows servers
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and provide fixes for issues reported in production environment
  • Experience in tuning databases and application servers
  • Experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace
  • Experience setting up or providing requirements to setup monitors and alerts
  • Experience using change management tools
 
Desired/Nice to Have:
  • Experience migrating on-prem FileNet platform to Cloud
  • Knowledge on Kofax Total Agility, ICC
