Job Title: Analyst - Config & Data Management Sr
Duration: 5 Months assignment
Location: Kent, WA 98032
 
Description:
This role will provide technical support, design and development of enhancements, as well as on-going maintenance for the company’s Workday system. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, HRIS and be responsible for business process configuration, report development, security configuration, and system functionality. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise and commitment to quality to help the company’s HR team improve our Workday solution.
 
We are currently looking for Workday Analysts with deep knowledge and experience in some or all of the following modules:  HCM, Talent Acquisition (Recruiting/Hiring), Benefits, Absence, Payroll, as well as Workday Security.
 
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting Workday across one or more of the following modules (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Workday Security), including design and testing of enhancements and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Design, configure, test and implement Workday business processes or security changes and troubleshoot and correct issues when they arise.
  • Create and maintain custom reports to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborates with HR Team to evaluate system needs and design new or modify system to meet changing business requirements.
  • Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday issues.
  • Research processes and requirements to ensure the system is built in line with business needs and in compliance with audit requirements.
  • Serve as lead on projects and enhancement activities as needed.
  • Work closely with other system subject matter experts to ensure Workday HCM system data integrity, configurations, troubleshooting, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Configure Workday business processes/workflows.
  • Recommend technical solutions taking into account priorities and trade-offs, and drive alignment among stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with functional leaders to test and prepare for system update.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 5+ year experience in Workday, including 3+ years configuring Workday (i.e., business processes, security, integrations) Experience managing Workday projects/configurations.
  • Experience building and maintaining calculated fields in Workday Advanced Workday Report Writing experience working in ticket/case management systems (e.g., JIRA) Attention to detail with strong technical skills Ability to multi-task and overcome obstacles with innovation to meet critical deadlines.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and quality and process orientated A quick learner with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence Highly independent; can own & drive substantial, complex tracks of work Strong collaborator; can engage with partners and stakeholders across the company.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity Strong customer orientation and communication skills, with ability to communicate clearly with both technical and functional audiences.
