Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk/Billing I Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension/conversion) Location: Swannanoa, NC (28778) Shift: Flexible start and end – generally starting between 6:30 & 8:30 am and ending between 3:00 & 5:00pm Note: Would prefer part time hours (20-30 per week) but would be open to a full time employee
Job Responsibilities
Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting/customer service functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and/or collections.
Contacts other departments, customers and/or outside agencies to resolve problems and resolve open issues.
Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent.
Works under minimal supervision.
May assist in orienting and training lower-level employees.
