Position Title: Accounting Senior Advisor Duration: 06+ Months Work Arrangement: 100% Remote Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm EST (CST is possible but must work EST) Flexible with lunch break either 30 minutes or 1 hours Training Schedule will be the same 100% Remote
Primary Responsibilities Need resource from June 2025 till Dec 2025 Manage activities related to the CGHB North America and Australia month-end, quarterly, and annual US GAAP close processes, including review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and various analyses. Main areas of focus include TPA and ASO Payment approval, including TPA fees, commissions, intercompany, etc. Journal entry review and approval Balance sheet reconciliation review and approval Coordinate with other functional areas such as Treasury, Provider Network, and Client Management to troubleshoot and perform ad hoc analyses Support US statutory reporting where needed Seek automation and efficiency improvement opportunities
Additional Requirements 5+ years of professional accounting experience required Healthcare insurance experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA preferred Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Finance Manager Strong technical skills with knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations for US GAAP reporting Strong sense of control to maintain an appropriate internal control environment Strong analytical skills to interpret, evaluate, and communicate financial results Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Oracle General Ledger, Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM), and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) strongly preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to balance multiple projects and adapt to new assignments High attention to detail and accuracy
