Job Description

Position: Account Executive
Location: New York, NY

Business Vertical: Sales
Function/Department: Account Management
Report to: Senior Account Executive


Objective: Building new customer relationships by adhering to the customer life cycle through prospecting and opening new accounts within an assigned territory. Ensure the continuity of loyalty and growth of accounts through customer satisfaction.
In line with department targets and goals in accordance with the sales plan, this position will ensure customer satisfaction and growth while partnering with Sales Representatives to increase product saturation by attaining new customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conforming to the corporate mission, vision and values.
• Outbound and cold calling to prospective accounts.
• Up selling to current accounts, identify assortment gaps and insuring that clients are up to date on the latest products.
• Meeting individual targets set forth by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Reporting the existing workloads, progress of assignments, priorities, risks and issues to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Partner and serve as a support function to the In-field Sales Representative

Departmental Responsibilities:
• Contributing to customer strategy and improvements to the customer life cycle plan to meet targets set by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Designing individual account strategies to increase the level of sales for the accounts.
• Generating new business by prospecting, getting referrals, networking, researching, conducting Private Shows, attending trade shows, and setting up appointments.
• Informing the sales representative, the credit requirements potential customers must meet.
• Reporting sales visitation schedule and lead information.
• Conforming to and communicating the image of the brand to customers.
• Identifying customer needs and maximize up selling and cross selling opportunities.
• Keeping updated on presentation skills and selling products, programs and added-values to the customers.
• Tracking the customers through the customer life cycle plan and distributing appropriate
materials to customers.
• Participating in private and industry shows and overseeing the process from customer invitations through customer satisfaction and order entry.
• Inviting customer to the showroom and reporting invitations to the sales representative and Regional Sales Manager
• Supporting customer by handling and resolving all customer requests.
• Partner with Sales Representatives by entering orders and streamlining information about their accounts.
• Storing, analyzing, and responding to other departments' queries on documentation of or information on old, existing and new accounts.
• Providing feedback to management on customer satisfaction, product quality, and program and campaign acceptance.
• Performing special duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills required:
• At least 2-5 years previous experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, marketing and/or equivalent experience. Inside Sales experience is a plus.
• Previous cold calling, prospecting and/or telemarketing experience required.
• Experience with writing logical, detailed and complete reports on account performance.
• Prior experience in the jewelry or luxury goods industries is strongly preferred.

• Multi-tasking.

Travel:
• Must be willing to travel up to 20%

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or related major highly preferred.
