The successful candidate has problem-solving mindset, strong client service, and is eager for growth and development. Must have relevant GXP and life sciences experience in supply chain and/or material handling.
Primary Responsibilities: Performs GXP operations, including: Receiving and put away inbound shipments. Coordinating outbound shipments; leading or assisting in preparing shipments (preconditioning, picking, packing). Completing routine shipment status reports and evaluation temperature data reports. Supports non-GXP operations, including: Assisting with inbound/outbound shipments. Material handling/organization needs of cross-functional teams (Process Sciences, Analytical Development, Preclinical, Translational Departments). Supports the establishment and maintenance of good warehouse practices: Contributes to implementing 5S and other organization techniques to maintain a safe, clean, uncluttered, and well-organized warehouse. Partners and ideates with the Facilities team to optimize material storage locations and flows. Sets expectations for other departments to maintain an organized warehouse. Seeks feedback from customers to improve operations continuously. Communicates with service providers effectively. Ability to flex work hours to support business needs.
Physical Requirements: Subject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, and moderate noise levels. Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment, with some office environment work.
Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in a supply chain or material handling position; bachelor's degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience within in cGDP and cGMP environment.
Organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and pressured environment.
Communicates effectively with both colleagues and clients and follows verbal and written instructions.
Detail-oriented, have a sense of urgency, and have good customer service.
IATA and DOT Hazardous Material Certified.
Able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software and systems pertinent to the industry.
