About the Team:The Global Engineering Services org is responsible for building new Amazon fulfillment centers across the globe. The Startup Development team creates project and building management software to assist onsite teams in tracking the progress of physical building deployment. Role Overview:As a Mobile Development Engineer, youll tackle a variety of technical challenges, ensuring the highest level of system performance and reliability. You will contribute to the development, troubleshooting, and enhancement of our applications, with a strong focus on React and Typescript.Key Responsibilities: Development Support: Develop and support realtime monitoring solutions, participate in troubleshooting, and debug issues across our internal applications. Understanding of mobile UIUX principles and be able to design web sites that are compatible to mobile devices. Code Implementation: Write and implement efficient code in Typescript, React, and MySQL. Enhance and optimize our existing systems. Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other developers on GES projects to deliver highquality software solutions. Process Automation: Automate support processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Documentation: Document all system processes and changes, maintaining clear and comprehensive system logs.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Experience: 25 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on frontend technologies. Technical Skills: Essential: Proficiency in TypescriptJavaScript, React, and SQL. Preferred: Experience with MySQL, AWS, NextJS, and HTML. Prior experience as Mobile Software development engineer Soft Skills: Excellent problemsolving abilities, detailoriented, strong organizational skills, and capable of working independently. Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
