Position Title: Senior Service Rep EFTR
Duration: 13 months (Possibility of Extension/Possibility of conversion to FTE- high probability)
Working hours: Shift hours 8:30 – 5:00
Working Location: Mississauga, ON L5N 0B4 (Hybrid schedule; in office in Mississauga 1 day a week)
Role Mandate/Responsibilities:
2) Monitor FINTRAC warnings and rejections and edit EFTRs for resubmission to FINTRAC.

Role Mandate/Responsibilities:
- CCBO Payments Operations is the centralized wire hub for the Enterprise and serves as the first line of defense for wire payment processing of incoming and outgoing inter-bank, corporate, and retail wire payments executed through the primary wire payment system (EWP). In addition to critical operational considerations, namely, timely and complete processing of wires, the Unit executes key compliance control processes for required wire data elements and sanctions screening pursuant to applicable sanctions laws and regulations, as well as providing post-execution wire payment support. This service is provided on behalf of other operating units as well as domestic branches within the Bank of Montreal group of companies for payments made to or received from correspondent banks worldwide.
- Client, as a Financial Reporting Entity within Canada’s AML reporting regime, must report incoming (where client is the final recipient) and outgoing (where client initiates the wire) international electronic funds transfers (EFTs) of $10,000 (CAD$ equivalent) or more to FINTRAC no later than five business days after the day of the transmission of the instructions. Failure to comply with FINTRAC EFTR requirements may have serious legal and reputational risks and expose client to fines and other penalties.
- The bank’s EFTR Team facilitates the review of records prior to FINTRAC submission as well as correction, deletion, and resubmission of EFTR rejects and warnings for the payments that fail FINTRAC validation rules. Submissions to FINTRAC are sent hourly to FINTRAC. Records are to be actioned within 48 hours of receipt in the EFTR GUI tool and submitted to FINTRAC within a total of 5 business days from the transaction date.
- CCBO PO user is expected to use the EFTR (Electronic Fund Transfer Reporting) Reject Management Tool (RMT) to:

Must have skills:
- Financial Industry experience (2 years).
- Quick and accurate typing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks without losing focus.
- FINTRAC experience.
- Wire experience.
