Job Description

Job Title: Police Officer (Uniformed Division)

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $75,134 - $129,251 per year

Work schedule Full-time

Relocation Expenses :: YES, If a final job offer is extended, relocation expenses may be authorized to the duty location.

 

Responsibilities: 

During the course of their careers, Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection. Duties include: 

  • Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
  • Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
  • Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
  • Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Top Security Clearance
  • Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.

Qualifications:

  • Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or certificate of equivalency.
  • Be the age of 20 at the time of application. Must be 21 at the time of appointment. (Be at least age 20 and less than age 37)
  • Must be eligible to write Uniformed Division Entrance Examination (UDEE)
