Duration: 24 months
Working Location: Toronto, ON M5G 3C2 (Hybrid: 3 days in the office)
Hours of Operation: 8:30 – 5 pm

Description:
  • We are looking for a detail oriented and highly organized marketing contractor to join our Personal Lending Marketing team. This is an execution focused role designed for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to build experience delivering targeted campaigns across email, direct mail, and other marketing channels.
  • The successful candidate will play a critical role in keeping campaigns moving smoothly through the system, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • The role requires strong project management skills and a proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams to drive work forward. This includes managing timelines, tracking dependencies, following up with partners, and ensuring nothing gets stuck or delayed. You will work closely with internal teams such as product, design, legal, compliance, and channel partners to shepherd campaigns through reviews and approvals, acting as a reliable point of coordination to keep work progressing from intake to launch.
  • Success in this role depends on attention to detail, persistence, and comfort working within established processes. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline driven, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once, with the confidence to proactively chase inputs, approvals, and next steps. While this role does not require heavy strategic ownership, it does require sound judgment, strong follow through, and the ability to execute consistently in a complex, process heavy environment.
  • Overall, we are looking for a dependable marketer who takes pride in executional excellence — someone who ensures plans are translated into action, deadlines are met, and campaigns are delivered accurately and efficiently. This role is well suited for a motivated self starter who enjoys bringing structure to work, working across teams, and “getting things done” within a fast paced marketing organization.

Responsibilties:
  • Manage day-to-day requirements to deliver targeted campaigns on time with flawless execution, including planning/delivery, developing targeting/segmentation & data requirements, managing agencies to develop creative & media plans, managing stakeholder reviews/approvals & translation.
  • Coordinate campaign delivery across multiple channels, helping ensure all required steps are completed accurately and on time, from intake through launch.
  • Manage day to day campaign execution activities, including tracking timelines, coordinating targeting and data requirements, managing creative and translation requests, and navigating stakeholder reviews and approvals to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Act as a key point of coordination across internal teams and agency partners, proactively following up to move work forward and prevent delays or bottlenecks.
  • Support prioritization and sequencing of executional tasks by maintaining clear work plans, tracking dependencies, and escalating risks to timelines as needed.
  • Assist with basic analysis and reporting of campaign results, compiling performance outputs and summaries for review by partners and senior team members.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with cross functional partners by communicating clearly, staying organized, and ensuring expectations, inputs, and timelines are understood.
  • Review marketing assets for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines, providing clear, actionable feedback to ensure readiness for launch.
  • Support budget tracking and spend management for campaigns by monitoring invoices, maintaining expense trackers, and flagging variances or issues to the broader team.

Must Haves:
  • Typically, between 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing and finance within a banking environment.
  • Experience working in a variety of marketing disciplines including demonstrated experience in customer relationship management (CRM) programs, email marketing, digital marketing, direct marketing and marketing analytics.
  • Superior verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to consult, influence, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across levels of seniority and business groups.
  • Strong proficiency in using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Data driven decision making.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to excellence in execution with keen attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated and driven.
  • Degree/diploma degree in business, marketing, finance or related field.
