Position Title: Marketing Operations Manager – Marketing Platforms & Enablement
Work Location: Irvine, CA 92614
Assignment Duration: 12 month contract to hire
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
 
Position Summary: The Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) Marketing team is expanding its operational capabilities and modernizing its ecosystem of marketing systems and platforms to support scalable, efficient, and compliant execution. The Marketing Operations Manager will play a critical role in integrating new technologies, optimizing existing tools, and ensuring teams are trained, supported, and equipped to adopt evolving workflows and capabilities.
 
Background & Context: This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, process, and cross functional collaboration. You will help build a connected, future ready marketing operations environment that enhances visibility, accelerates delivery, and improves the overall quality of marketing output.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of marketing systems and platforms used across our organization's marketing organization (e.g., workflow/project management tools, DAM systems, content creation platforms, digital experience tools, analytics dashboards, and future technologies).
  • Partner with Global IT, Marketing teams, the Agency of Record (AOR), and platform vendors to ensure seamless system integration, governance, and long term scalability.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, onboarding materials, and best practice guides for marketers, agencies, and cross functional partners.
  • Analyze workflow bottlenecks and user behavior to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Build dashboards and reporting views that provide visibility into project status, resource utilization, cycle times, and operational KPIs.
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to ensure consistent use of marketing systems and adherence to governance standards.
  • Design and maintain workflows, templates, routing rules, and operational frameworks that support scalable execution across marketing programs.
  • Ensure data integrity, system hygiene, and compliance across all platforms and user groups.
  • Support change management efforts as new systems and processes are introduced to the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
 
Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or marketing technology.
  • Experience managing or supporting marketing systems or platforms (e.g., workflow tools, DAMs, CMS, content creation tools, analytics platforms).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train, influence, and support diverse user groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment and lead a small team to implement new systems across our organization.
 
What else we look for (preferred):
  • Experience implementing or administering marketing systems and enterprise platforms
  • Background in medical device, healthcare, life sciences or regulated industries.
