Senior Data Architect
Location: Charlotte, NC, US (Hybrid)
Duration: FT Perm Role
As Senior Data Architect, this position will be a technical leader on the Data Integration Team.
- This position is responsible for providing technical leadership in building world-class data integration solutions to support business needs.
- Define and model the data integration architecture needs across Client.
- Ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards are integrated and followed to meet technical and business goals.
- Maintain secure, high quality, reliable data delivery.
- Work closely with teams to collect and translate information requirements into data to develop data-centric solutions that meet current needs and are scalable to adopt future changes in technology. Leading this effort requires coordination and integration with various project teams across Client.
- Lead effort to manage and improve Client's Data Lakehouse architecture.
- Provide assistance and thought leadership for defining our Client Master and Reference Data Management strategy.
- This is a full-time, permanent position with the Client Business Technology Team. Teammate location will be based in Charlotte NC.
- A willingness to travel periodically and domestically is required to satisfy project or training demands.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and implementing modern data integration and data warehouse solutions.
- Experience in modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric)
- Experience in Microsoft Azure
- Experience in Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and/or Data Lakehouse at scale
- Extensive hands-on experience in implementing ETL/ELT solutions with data migration experience
- Experience with popular BI tools and self-service BI environments
- Experience in integration strategy including roadmap, architecture, and governance model
- Experience working within Agile Frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related discipline. An equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered
- Exposure to data governance and master data management practices
- Experience in designing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with metadata-driven integration and data pipeline architecture
