Job Title: Program Manager, Expert
Location: Dublin, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 10+ Months


Note: Local candidates only. Hybrid, Wednesday, Dublin CC travel, and some minimal travel as needed. 25% travel - territory-wide. can expense for mileage reimbursement with prior written supervisor approval. Client's laptop will be provided.

Position Summary: 
  • The Principal Program Manager will be responsible for executing on cleint’s mission of safe, reliable, and affordable operations. The program manager will have experience and skills in project management, communication, teamwork, management of change, change management, and related technicality who can drive the delivery of the objectives to all needed employee levels of the company and outside stakeholders. 
  • The candidate will lead all efforts, projects, programs, and communications that support the T&S CW Experience strategy. This includes communications channels such as in-person, Teams, and email channels to engage all levels of leadership and individual contributors, field, office, and hybrid coworkers, contractors, represented, non-represented, etc. The candidate will be stay aligned with the EO communications strategy to ensure alignment on messaging, and will lead action plans resulting from Joy@Work and Breakthrough surveys for T&S.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead highly visible and complex projects and initiatives within scope, schedule, and cost
  • Lead the communication strategy to ensure efficient and effective communications are enabled to connect T&S coworkers to one another; share recognition and timely messaging on highlights; safety, quality, morale, delivery, costs, etc.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings; ELTs, All CW Calls, Leadership Meetings
  • Create, maintain and execute the Breakthrough and Joy@Work action plans
  • Facilitate weekly org newsletters for T&S and ensures alignment with various levels of communications (Functional Areas, Orgs, EO)
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives and presents findings and makes recommendations to management.
  • Works with all levels of management and senior leadership across functions to influence decisions.
  • Lead the coordination of VP and ELT meetings, and leadership/strategy development and culture change/change management efforts.
  • Composes, designs, and prepares various complex and technical correspondence, presentations, communications, reports, documents, and other materials.
  • Researches, analyzes, and responds to various and escalated inquiries and issues, develop recommendations, and execute resolutions to support decision making actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Communications or Business Admin.
  • 8 years of related work experience.
Desired:
  • Utility, energy industry experience; advanced understanding of the utility or energy industry drivers, issues and trends.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Transmission, Distribution and Substation and /or Electric Operations
  • Deep understanding of external and internal customer expectations; anticipates needs; creates a sense of urgency; sets the highest standards of quality, service and timeliness.
  • Excellent oral and written communication; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; effective ability to lead and deliver presentations to large teams.
  • Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity and provide frameworks and structure for direct report teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across a diverse set of stakeholders; strong relationship building abilities; ability to work across a matrix organization.
  • Strong leadership and business acumen; competency in strategic business planning concepts, practices, methods and techniques.
  • Creative and strategic data analysis, benchmarking, monitoring and business/financial analysis skills including knowledge of varied analytical methods.
  • Expert analytical problem solving and decision-making skills to develop comprehensive solutions; possesses a continuous improvement mindset; Process Improvement and/or Workforce Planning certification.
  • Excellent creative and innovative solution-based thinking to implement new programs/processes or organizational improvements; deep knowledge of change management and process improvement principles, concepts and practices.
  • Knowledge of human performance analysis and improvement; solid understanding of various training concepts and methods.
  • Expert analytical problem solving and decision-making skills to develop comprehensive solutions; possesses a continuous improvement mindset; Process Improvement
