Location: Southlake, TX (Hybrid Work Model – Monday – Thursday on site)

Job Description –
  • Our Opportunity: The I&O PMO within client Technology Infrastructure Services (STS) seeks a professional self-starter with expert level project management skills.
  • The successful candidate will be highly capable at providing project management services, communication, organization, business savvy, and relational skills. Experience building business relationships beyond the project as well as supporting multiple projects and/or project managers is essential.
  • This position will report to the Senior Manager within the I&O PMO and will work across multiple domains within the I&O organization and at times, across STS.
What you’ll do:
  • Independently manage complex, strategic technology programs and/ or projects to successful completion.
  • Develop and manage relationships with and between all key stakeholders, including the negotiation of roles and responsibilities.
  • Independently and proactively leads/manages multiple medium and/or large sized projects with other efforts as assigned.
  • Demonstrated history of project delivery, preferably in the technology Infrastructure and/or Cloud space.
  • Timely and accurate record maintenance (Clarity, Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Excel).
  • Create project schedules and timelines. Identify, track, and manage project or initiative deliverables, risk, and/or issues. • Collects, authors, and presents executive level briefings capturing key project information for use in project/program status updates to leadership.
  • Analyzes and evaluates project/program plans and makes recommendations and decisions within general parameters.
  • Performs detailed needs assessments and identifies project/program priorities, risks, and issues.
  • Proactively communicate both written and verbally; uses all communication methods (voice calls, IM, email, MS Office documents, etc.) to proactively manage the project details, update documentation, manage risk/issues, convey status, approval requests, and escalations to senior manager, key stakeholders, sponsor, and project stakeholders.
  • Communicates moderately complex concepts and interacts with others to inform and direct action.
  • Collaborates regularly with peers or external and internal partners.
  • Review critical artifacts to gain an understanding of project deliverables, ensure quality of content, and support the effective management of risks/issues.
  • Ensure realistic and reliable staffing plans across the program, focusing on the availability and commitment of appropriately skilled resources.
  • Ensure program-wide adherence to corporate standards including Legal, Compliance, Vendor Management, etc.
  • Track and report critical program and project level activity and progress.
  • Utilizes both technical and business expertise to develop detailed project plans and needs/impacts assessments.
  • Manages the implementation from resource allocation, progress tracking, change and control, testing, training to on-time delivery within budget.
  • Coordinate governance meetings alongside subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Adhere to internal governance controls, processes, and procedures.
  • Communicate project status updates, risks, issues, and regular updates to PMO and project leadership team members. • Facilitate meetings, create and publish meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Aggressively follow-up with all project related action items.
  • Assist with the tracking of business and technical deliverables and keep all project documentation plans up to date.
  • Assist with PMO related administrative duties as assigned.
  • Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Engage in building consensus and developing recommended solutions as issues arise.
 
What you have:
  • Minimum 8 years of technical Project Management experience
  • Experience managing IT Infrastructure projects
  • BA/BS degree, technical degree preferred.
  • Self-motivated, quick, and decisive.
  • Demonstrated experience working Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies
  • Delivers consistent and accurate work proactively and routinely.
  • Comfortable managing change, preparing and presenting to individual contributors all the way to senior level executives.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage many tasks at once.
  • Able to work independently, seeking guidance at appropriate times.
  • Detail oriented and capable of tracking and maintaining large amounts of project data through several different systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, influencing, prioritization, and conflict avoidance/resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook) plus MS Project.
In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following preferred qualifications:
  • PMP preferred o Previous experience working in an Agile environment is preferred. CSM certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint o Background experience in financial services or technology industry.
  • Experience using JIRA. o Experience managing Cloud projects
