Responsibilities:
- Senior QA Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for client applications and programs.
- They provide consultative expertise to both the project team and clients, ensuring that best practices and effective strategies are applied for manual and automated testing initiatives.
- The Senior QA Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to identify testing requirements, design test plans, and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality software delivery and alignment with project objectives.
- Bachelor's degree with 10 + years' experience in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of proven business expertise in building testing strategies including manual and automated testing scripts and plans.
- The agency requires a mainframe developer who has at least three (3) years of experience with the operations and maintenance of enterprise financial systems.
- Perform software system development related to enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Provide software and system support for break/fix and bug repair.
- Develop maintenance documentation for coding changes and break/fix resolution.
- Provide quality assurance and testing of code changes.
- Provide informal coaching and knowledge transfer to agency support personnel related to system functions and changes implemented.
