Job Duration: 9 Months
Job Location: Westboro, MA
This is a 2nd shift role Hours 3p-11:30p M-F
Job Description:

Robotics (AR) is  Industrial automation and robotics arm manufacturing, producing high-quality robotic systems that power fulfillment and transportation centers across the globe. Our Operations team works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers.
About the Role: As a Functional Technician at Robotics, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, fabrication, and testing of complex robotic systems and components. This position combines hands-on technical work with collaborative problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute assembly and fabrication of complex manufactured products following established procedures
• Perform troubleshooting and debug activities on manufacturing products. Gather and analyze data from various sources for problem resolution. Troubleshoot standard tasks and escalate complex issues when necessary
• Conduct PCBA inspection, rework, and circuit board modifications
• Set up and execute test fixtures and DAQ systems. Read and interpret engineering documentation and drawings
• Fabricate cable harnesses and assemble electronic boxes
• Assist in training new hires and junior team members
• Maintain quality standards and contribute to process improvements
• Document discrepancies and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with hardware standards (SAE, Metric, ASME)
• Perform hardware inspections and first article builds
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in reading and understanding English
• Competency with basic hand tools and measurement equipment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and software operations
• Physical ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 pounds frequently
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Understanding of basic hardware standards (SAE, Metric, ASME)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Basic technical communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing assembly
• Experience with specialized manufacturing equipment
• Background in electronics assembly or robotics
• Relevant technical certifications
• Experience with quality control processes
Working Conditions:
• Manufacturing floor environment
• May require wearing PPE
• 8-hour shifts (schedule details)
• May require overtime as needed
