Job Summary
The IT Supply Chain Functional Analyst plays a critical role in driving the performance and efficiency of the organization’s supply chain systems. This individual will serve as a strategic bridge between business needs and IT capabilities, ensuring platforms like NetSuite and related systems align with and support supply chain objectives. The focus will be on enhancing processes related to procurement, demand planning, inventory management, and overall supply chain operations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
System Analysis & Optimization

Evaluate current supply chain processes to identify areas for system improvement.

Configure and optimize IT solutions to support procurement, planning, and inventory functions.

Serve as a subject matter expert for IT tools supporting supply chain operations.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation

Partner with supply chain stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate them into system requirements.

Document workflows, business requirements, functional specs, and configuration details.
Implementation & Testing

Lead or support rollouts of new supply chain modules or system enhancements.

Conduct functional testing to ensure system changes align with business requirements.
Support & Troubleshooting

Provide ongoing support for supply chain systems, with a focus on procurement, demand planning, and inventory modules.

Diagnose and resolve system-related issues in collaboration with IT teams or external vendors.
Training & Stakeholder Collaboration

Deliver training and support for end users to promote adoption of tools and process changes.

Act as a liaison between supply chain teams, internal IT, and third-party vendors or partners.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor supply chain KPIs.
- ?Ensure reliable data integration across systems to support effective decision-making.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in IT business analysis or systems support, with a strong focus on supply chain processes.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required.
- Experience working with procurement, demand planning, or inventory management tools/modules is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in system configuration, testing, and process mapping.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to create clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NetSuite Supply Chain modules.

Familiarity with supply chain planning tools and methodologies.

Exposure to integration projects between ERP systems and external supply chain platforms.
