Title: Pharmacy Technician 1
Location: Onsite-8715 Henderson Rd, Tampa, FL 33634
Duration: 12 months (Potential to extend/convert)
    
Job Description:

•Assisting in dispensing of medication. Printing pick tickets, finding the corresponding drug(s) / supplies, and inputting into computer software the correct qty, lot, and NDC of drug and supply lines.
•Assisting in all aspects of inventory management. Assists in receiving drug from supplier/carrier, unpacking, sorting, and receiving into computer system. Assists in putting the drugs and supplies on the shelf correctly and in an orderly manner.
•Assists in shipping by using the correct pack outs for refrigerated or ambient medications, restocks gel pack, restocks coolers.
•There is a company orientation. I will show them around the facility and show them their workstation. I will have them work with other team members on various stations to ensure they get an idea of how our day to day operations work.

The pharmacy technician role is a key component of the prescription fulfillment journey. We dispense specialty medications – life saving medication for rare or complex conditions such as cancer, cystic fibrosis, psoriasis, asthma, etc.
 
We are close-knit team who helps each other out whenever needed. We go above and beyond not only for our patients but for each other as well.
 
This role is 100% on site. We are closed on weekends.
Candidate Requirements-
Education/Certification Required: High school diploma Preferred: Bachelors
Licensure Required: FL Registered Pharmacy Technician Preferred:
  • Years of experience required
Must haves: Previous experience as a pharmacy technician

•Accuracy – ensuring orders are received, picked, and shipped accurately
•Being a team player – assisting others in the department whenever needed
•Inventory measures – ensuring drugs are being rotated and not expiring or aging, ensuring lot numbers and expiration dates are correctly being inputted at receiving, placing orders on time

1 Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
2 Previous experience with managing inventory
