Job Title: Business Analyst I
Duration: 18 months
Location: Toronto, ON
Hybrid Model: M to F- core business hours (Hybrid: 4 days onsite)
 
Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage, analyze, and direct USD dollar payments flow for main trading Nostro by utilizing various applications such as Intraday Liquidity Tool (IDL) and Liquidity Control Manager (LCM).
• Investigate exceptional Nostro account balances under TD Securities.
• Manage the Daily Funding Requirement platform and the Internal funding relationship setups with various Funding desks
• Assist manager to approve and release daily transactions.
• Provide guidance to Junior Analysts when issue arise.
• Manage change and deal with ambiguity effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
• Identify, understand and manage risk appropriately

 
Must-Have Hard Skills

• 1 year- Relevant operations experience – either financial, big4, banking (co-op experience is okay).
• Undergrad degree in relevant field.
• Strong excel skills.

Soft Skills:

• Quick Learner
• Strong communication skills
• Work under pressure

 
Nice-To-Have

• Major Banking exp
• Master’s degree

 
Education

• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other discipline.
