About the Role
- The Consumer Integrated Marketing team is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and data-driven marketer to grow Clients Marketplace.
- This role will report into the New Vertical Retail, Convenience and Alcohol Marketing lead and will own omnichannel marketing campaigns designed to drive incremental awareness and trial of New Vertical users.
- This marketer will build out our category specific programs designed to unlock new set of consumers for Client. It’s an awesome blend of working on 0 to 1 nascent bets and driving impact at scale while overseeing a substantial marketing budget.

- Thrive as the central liaison between Marketing teams, Strategy & Operations, Product, Finance, Analytics and other departments to build and execute on a holistic and integrated marketing strategy
- Help define and prioritize requirements for key cross-functional initiatives, working cross-functionally to identify solutions, serving as the subject matter expert / liaison for partner organizations during planning
- Act as the “general manager” within the marketing org to ensure plans are developed in a unified cohesive manner and executed in close collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders (strategy + operations, finance, product, analytics, engineering, etc)
- Be responsible for tracking new verticals marketing initiatives, performance metrics across functions, reporting progress out to org proactively developing the processes and identifying risks and building mitigation strategies in partnership with marketing teams Partner with Marketing leadership and key cross-functional leads to build and deliver investment asks, and/or planning & headcount deliverables
- Lead the end to end execution of testing and launching new campaigns –from consumer research to setting goals to securing budget to briefing creatives to launching / optimizing to reporting out on impact and everything in between Communicate with cross-functional partners and senior leadership on the status and progress of initiatives, how the team is tracking towards goals, and proactively identify / flag risks as well as mitigation strategies.
- Create and manage project timelines to ensure all team members have a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities as well as next steps
- 5+ years of experience in B2C marketing, preferably with a mix of performance, retention, and / or integrated marketing with experience standing up new marketing channels
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA a plus 2 years or more in consulting, operations, or finance a plus
- The ability to think about the business like a GM, drive forward highly cross-functional projects like a product manager, and understand how to speak to our consumer like a seasoned marketer.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills and are able to organize critical info both to senior leaders, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience sifting through a detailed analysis and synthesizing the key points to make data-driven decisions, while still having a strong bias for action and being able leverage your intuition when you don’t have all the data you might need.
- Strong project management and organizational experience, including tracking calendars/trackers, setting DRIs, and following up relentlessly to hit goals
- Demonstrate a bias for action and aren’t afraid to build processes where they don’t exist, or to build relationships across the organization that will help accelerate marketing
- Ability to synthesize data, make data-driven decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an intuition-driven bias to action
- Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong bias to action
- A creative and entrepreneurial mindset - you enjoy tackling unsolved problems, building, and finding creative solutions with limited resources.
- A love for collaborating and working on a team with extensive cross-functional experience partnering with groups across marketing (CRM, paid media, creative, etc), analytics, product, etc.
