Title: HR Business Partner V
Location: Onsite- New York, NY / MPK, CA/ Bellevue, WA
Duration: 12 Months

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership across one or more product or functional organizations. This is a highly impactful individual contributor role that operates at the intersection of business strategy and people strategy, driving organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and culture at scale.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with Directors and Vice Presidents to shape organizational strategy, influence business decisions through a people lens, and lead initiatives in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and change leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner with senior leaders (Director+ level) to align people strategy with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute workforce planning, talent, and organizational strategies.
  • Translate business priorities into scalable people initiatives.
  • Identify organizational risks and implement proactive solutions.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead organizational design initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assess organizational health using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Drive change management for restructures, transformations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Coach leaders to build high-performing and inclusive teams.

Talent Management

  • Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Drive performance management and talent calibration processes.
  • Advise leaders on career development and internal mobility.
  • Partner with Total Rewards on compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Champion an inclusive and high-performing culture.
  • Analyze engagement data and implement action plans.
  • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into people programs.
  • Support leaders through organizational change while maintaining cultural alignment.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and People Analytics.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and best practices.
  • Mentor HR peers and help elevate HRBP capabilities across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 8+ years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior executives (VP/SVP level).
  • Strong experience within a fast-paced technology or similarly complex environment.
  • Expertise in at least three of the following:
    • Organizational Design
    • Talent Management
    • Change Management
    • Workforce Planning
    • Employee Relations
    • Executive Coaching
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using people data to influence decisions.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Engineering, Product, Research, or Infrastructure organizations.
  • Experience in a large, global, matrixed technology organization.
  • Experience leading large-scale organizational transformation or M&A integration initiatives.
  • Master's degree, MBA, or professional HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, etc.).
  • Experience coaching and mentoring HR professionals.

At SPECTRAFORCE, we are committed to maintaining a workplace that ensures fair compensation and wage transparency in adherence with all applicable state and local laws.This position's pay range is $72.22/hr - $84.41/hr.
