Job Description

Job Title: Marketing Communications Analyst
Location: Remote
Duration: 7 Months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible; time zone flexibility available)

Position Summary:
The Communications Analyst/Proofreader will work both independently and collaboratively with the Proofreading team. This role also involves close coordination with Member Experience Managers and Marketing Operations Managers to ensure all member communications meet CMS and client requirements prior to delivery.

Duties:
  • Understand plan design elements and apply this knowledge to member communication materials.
  • Electronically proofread a high volume of member-facing documents related to Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage.
  • Ensure materials meet specific instructions—verifying correct language, client branding, plan design, and other elements.
  • Check content against backup documents to ensure accuracy and compliance using Microsoft Word (Track Changes) and Adobe Acrobat (Comments).
  • Apply internal style guide rules and collaborate with the Proofreading Team Lead for clarification and feedback.
  • Manage daily project priorities and adapt to updated assignments throughout the day.
  • Coordinate with the Team Lead to meet deadlines and ensure completed work is routed to the Workflow Manager.
  • Address content-related questions and resolve discrepancies with the Communication Owner, under the guidance of the Team Lead.
  • Assist with resolving schedule conflicts, setting priorities, and ensuring consistency across project materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3–4 years of experience in communications proofreading.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with web-based tools and digital workflows.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Experience with workflow and content management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Comfort working digitally across various platforms.
  • Experience with Medicare or Medicaid is a plus.
