Commissioning Specialist

REMOTE (Northern Va and Arizona preferred)
50% travel would include travel for substantial consecutive periods of time.
Overview: As a Commissioning Specialist on our team, you will participate in both onsite and office activities to support commissioning projects. You will lead and perform all commissioning-related activities, including testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance) and equipment and systems start-up, ensuring a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform commissioning activities including testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance) and equipment and systems start-up
- Engage in commissioning, retro-commissioning, and re-commissioning projects
- Work directly with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve optimal outcomes with a focus on operational performance and efficiency
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning activities such as utility infrastructure, life safety, electrical power systems, low voltage systems, and facility operations and maintenance
- Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA, and NICET electrical testing and code requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Mission Critical experience is a plus
