Job Title: Data Steward 3
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Summary:
The main function of a data steward is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. A typical data steward is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
Job Responsibilities:
Hands-on Data Catalog Lifecycle Stewardship; Responsible for the monitoring and working with stakeholders to maintain the quality of the data catalog, key aspects being metadata completeness and accuracy; Assists the Collibra Data Governance Architect as necessary in development efforts; Provide data analysis support to client resources with data usage and the data analysis to support their data contracting efforts; Monitor catalog usage and provide training to end users as required Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Knowledge of Collibra, database management software, and data governance practices.
Education/Experience: Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
