Position Title: Logistics Coordinator
Work Location: Waukesha, WI 53186
Assignment Duration: 18 months.
Work Schedule: 1st Shift
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (60% in office / 3 days onsite)
The Logistics Coordinator operates within a team to coordinate, process and manage all domestic logistics related outgoing business flows for production sites, toller facilities and external 3rd party warehouses.
Focus is on ensuring reliable, effective distribution of customer orders with the use of numerous carrier partners and coordination across multiple internal and external 3rd party sites.
Coordinate daily logistics operations.
Create and manage deliveries.
Process shipments in SAP.
Coordinate with warehouses for order picking, packaging, and fulfillment.
Generate shipping and customer documentation.
Coordinate carriers.
Track shipments and communicate delivery delays.
Resolve issues with carriers, warehouses, and internal departments.
Follow and improve SOPs.
Develop expertise in claims, Incoterms, and export documentation.
Monitor compliance with legal and operational requirements.
Support warehouse cycle counts.
Investigate shipment complaints and claims.
Communicate logistics issues to Customer Service and Planning teams.
Monitor transportation KPIs.
Manage shipment costing and invoice exceptions.
Participate in logistics process improvement projects.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent logistics experience.
3–5 years of logistics operations experience (or equivalent).
SAP or similar ERP experience.
Warehouse Management Systems experience.
Warehousing and distribution knowledge.
Domestic shipping knowledge.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
Strong communication skills.
Practical problem-solving skills.
