Position Title: Staff Pharmacist
Work Location: Waltham, MA 02451
Assignment Duration: 7 Months
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7pm
Training Schedule will be the same
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
 
Position Summary: Mail order pharmacy.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform final product verification of prescription medications prior to shipment or dispensing.
• Verify correct drug, strength, dosage form, quantity, labeling, packaging, and patient information.
• Ensure prescription fulfillment complies with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Review patient profiles for appropriateness, allergies, duplicate therapy, and potential drug interactions as required.
• Resolve verification discrepancies
• Maintain accuracy and productivity standards within established turnaround times.
• Report medication errors, near misses, and operational concerns according to The Organization's procedures.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and operations teams to optimize workflow.

 
Qualification & Experience:

• Requires a MA RPh license.
• Recent grad. Doesn't need any specific experience.
• Proficient at basic pharmacist knowledge.
