Title: Senior Contracts Administrator
Duration: 6 month (Temp to Hire)
Location: Norcross, GA
 
Job Summary:
The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of contract management, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance monitoring. This role ensures that all contracts align with organizational objectives, legal requirements, and industry standards while mitigating risks and optimizing business outcomes. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Reports to: Director, Contracts and Trade Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Prepare, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership deals, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Contract Management: Administer contracts from initiation to closeout, including tracking deliverables, milestones, and payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks in contract terms, advising management on strategies to protect organizational interests.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies, maintaining up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and project management teams to align contract terms with business goals and operational needs.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement standardized contract templates, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency in contract administration.
  • Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving contract disputes or discrepancies, escalating issues to legal counsel or senior management when necessary.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on contract status, performance metrics, and potential issues to support strategic decision-making.
 
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract administration or management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., DocuSign, SAP Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and propose solutions.
  • Attributes: Proactive, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
 
Additional Skills:
  • Experience in administering a Government property system
  • Familiar with WAWF, EWAM, and other US DOD Systems
 
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position, typically office-based with potential for hybrid or remote work depending on organizational policies.
  • Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings or contract negotiations.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and high-pressure situations effectively.
