Job Description
Position Title: License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Work Location: 5483 Mooretown Rd, Williamsburg, VA
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sunday 8:30 to 4:30
Work Arrangement: Not specified
Position Summary: Provide clinical social work services for adult patients with mental health and substance abuse issues in an inpatient setting.
Background & Context:
- Department consists of approximately 40% voluntary admissions and 60% committed patients.
- All adult populations.
- 100 Level: depression and suicide.
- 200 Level: severe mental illness.
- 300 Level: mix of both depression/suicide and severe mental illness.
- Includes a small detox unit.
Key Responsibilities: - Work with all diagnoses across depression, suicide, severe mental illness, and detox patients.
- Must be flexible to work with all diagnoses.
Qualification & Experience: - Required Certifications: VA License and Master’s Degree.
- Required Experience: 2 years of inpatient psych/substance abuse or similar experience.
- Documentation: EHR-HCS.
