Role Scope / Deliverables:
  • As an IT Business Analyst , you'll contribute to bridging business needs with technology solutions to advance our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, gather requirements, and implement innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency.
  • Working in an agile environment, you'll help define and document business requirements, create user stories, facilitate and lead workshops, and ensure successful solutions delivery.
  • This role offers opportunities to work with advanced technologies while making meaningful contributions to critical business initiatives.
  • This role works closely with Manufacturing Operations, primarily within the Frederick, MD facilities, but also across various sites and with other IT teams as needed.
 
Key Skills:
  • Key Responsibilities Partnering with Manufacturing Operations in creating business value through new product introductions, productivity, and process improvements
  • Gather and analyze business requirements
  • Facilitate communication between business and IT teams
  • Create and maintain business and functional requirements
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and End User Training
  • Have a good understanding of our MES systems
  • Manage stakeholder expectations
 
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement
 
Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Agile methodologies and project management principles
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management/documentation tools
  • Excellent requirements gathering and documentation capabilities
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills for leading workshops and stakeholder meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Proficiency in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
 
Preferred Fields of Study/ Qualification:
  • Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Experience working with software development or configuration tools Life Science industry background is a strong plus
  • Experience working in a GxP environment is a strong plus
