Job Description"

This role is responsible for material planning, forecasting, and readiness to support technology development, new product introduction, supply qualification, and factory readiness. The position serves as a primary interface between Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supplier/Manufacturing Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead materials budget planning and spend management in partnership with Finance and Engineering
  • Drive Clear-to-Build (CTB) readiness for pre-production build phases
  • Develop and propose optimized supply plans to ensure on-time build schedules and drive resolution of material issues
  • Collaborate with Engineering to manage multiple or alternate source qualifications through build management
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for NPI materials processes
  • Facilitate daily or weekly supply planning meetings with Manufacturing Partners

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) supply chain management
  • Strong project/program management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SAP, Oracle, Numbers, Keynote, and Pages
  • PMP, APICS, CSCP, or CPIM certification preferred
