Job Title: Finance Systems Manager / Sr Manager – EPM & Financial Reporting Location: Remote Duration: 6 months
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager/Sr Manager – EPM & Financial Reporting to join our Consolidation and Reporting team as we implement CCH Tagetik for financial consolidation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & EPM Development
Build, customize, and maintain financial statements, consolidation reports, management reporting packages, and ad hoc reports within the EPM platform.
Translate close, consolidation, and reporting requirements into practical EPM reporting solutions.
Improve report design, functionality, usability, performance, and maintainability.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline manual reporting processes.
Develop reusable reporting solutions and help strengthen the team’s internal EPM capabilities.
Close, Consolidation & Data Support
Support EPM-related activities across the close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes.
Validate and reconcile EPM data and reports against source systems and financial results.
Investigate issues involving reporting logic, formulas, sign conventions, mappings, hierarchies, data loads, integrations, and consolidation results.
Support requirements related to intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, consolidation adjustments, and multi-entity reporting.
Partner with IT and implementation resources when system or integration support is required.
Implementation, Testing & User Support
Represent Close, Consolidation and Reporting requirements during the CCH Tagetik implementation and future enhancements.
Develop and execute test scenarios for reports, enhancements, upgrades, and other changes affecting the team’s processes.
Support UAT, document issues, validate resolutions, and perform regression testing when appropriate.
Maintain functional requirements, reporting procedures, testing documentation, and user guidance.
Provide day-to-day EPM reporting support, knowledge transfer, and training to team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in Finance systems, EPM/CPM, financial reporting, consolidation, or related areas.
Hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik or a comparable EPM/CPM platform, such as OneStream, Oracle EPM/Hyperion, SAP BPC, or similar systems.
Demonstrated experience building and customizing financial reports within an EPM platform, beyond end-user report execution.
Experience translating Finance and Accounting requirements into functional or reporting solutions.
Experience with EPM implementations or significant enhancements, including testing/UAT and issue resolution.
Strong Excel skills and experience analyzing and reconciling financial data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate reporting and data issues.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across Accounting, Finance, IT, and external implementation teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on CCH Tagetik experience, particularly with financial consolidation and reporting.
Experience developing financial statements, consolidation reports, management reporting packages, dashboards, or similar EPM-based reporting solutions.
Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA and ERP-to-EPM data flows.
Knowledge of consolidation accounting, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, consolidation adjustments, and multi-entity reporting.
Familiarity with EPM metadata, hierarchies, mappings, workflows, business rules, and integrations.
Experience supporting Finance transformation or EPM implementation in a global, multi-entity organization.
Relevant systems certification is a plus.
