Position Title: Quality Engineer I
Work Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Assignment Duration: 6 Months
Position Summary:
Performs quality and validation risk assessment for changes to raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs quality and validation risk assessment for changes to raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
- Review and assess the change controls (changes to SOP, batch records, equipment, and raw materials)
- Review feasibility studies and DOE on manufacturing equipment/processes
- Review and assess non-conformances with PFMEA guidelines.
Qualification & Experience:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience
- Has knowledge of GMP, compliance with FDA and ISO regulations.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable):
- Human serum exposure
- PPE: lab coat, gloves, glasses, shoe covers
