Role: Project Manager/CVM
Duration: 05 months with possibility of extension
Location: Lone Tree, CO 80124 - Worker will be required to work onsite 4 days a week in the Lone Tree office. Fridays will be WFH
 
Job Description:
  • Play an essential delivery and problem-solving role within Corporate Vendor Management (CVM) focused on project leadership, technology enablement, and process optimization.
  • Quickly develop an expert understanding of the Corporate Vendor Management business and applications to best understand the full implications of system change from system development activities
  • Be a solutions-oriented resource for the department, working with the various functional areas to determine system/process enhancements and automation opportunities to add scale to the vendor management lifecycle
  • Business Analysis
  • Solicit and capture business requirements through stakeholder interviews, reviews of business processes and current system design ensure the requirements are understood by all stakeholders (user stories, process flows, use cases…)
  • Have strong technical skills and ability to quickly learn business processes to effectively support system and process enhancements.
  • Support the User Acceptance Testing phase of implementation, including coordination of issue analysis / resolution
  • Be a trusted liaison between the business and technology teams, understanding needs / requests, supporting releases that reflect those needs and working to see them implemented flawlessly
  • Offer effective and efficient technical solutions that promote automation and efficiency gains.
  • Have strong technical skills and ability to quickly learn business processes to effectively support system and process enhancements.
  • Project Leadership
  • Deftly navigate organizational structure/politics to influence program direction, decisions and delivery to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Acquire knowledge of business processes and supporting technologies to define project scope, lead cross-functional designs and ultimately realize the value of the initiative through successful delivery.
  • End to end project planning and execution using project management best practices, developing integrated project plans with milestone management and interdependencies, risk management and resource planning. Including: Manage business and technical deliverables to the project timeline throughout the various project phases.
  • Develop and document project plans, and schedules. Identify and document the roles, tasks, and responsibilities of the project team. Must have strong project management and project planning experience/knowledge with demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion
 
What you have:
  • Capability to manage a dynamic workload, aligning with business partners on priorities and deliverable dates
  • Highly motivated, delivery oriented, organized approach with demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to tailor messages to audience and senior leadership
  • 3-5+ years prior experience managing projects of varying discipline (PMI, PMP Certification or Scrum Master Certification preferred)
  • 3-5+ years of business / system analysis
  • Proven track record of building effective working relationships with senior level business partners and internal / external stakeholders
  • Self-starter, able to manage multiple projects and succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Ability to translate business needs into business requirements and technical specifications and solutions
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to research problems, determine root causes and solutions
  • Experience in developing and delivering executive level PowerPoint
