Job Title: Marketing Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead the end-to-end development of Vertiv’s Responsible Business Report. This role requires exceptional project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and workflow management skills to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of a complex, multi-stakeholder report in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Manage all phases of the Responsible Business Report project, from information gathering through execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones within Vertiv platforms, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Orchestrate collaboration across marketing, legal, and other business units to keep the project on time and aligned with objectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders up to the Vice President level to maintain project vision and scope.
Timeline & Workflow Management
- Monitor schedules and workflows, facilitating regular status meetings and updates.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks early, implementing solutions to keep deliverables on track and on budget.
- Balance multiple workstreams and optimize processes for efficiency.
Quality Control & Approvals
- Coordinate review and approval processes with executive leadership, Legal, Marketing, and external consultants.
- Ensure content quality and compliance with Responsible Business standards.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the central point of contact for project communications.
- Lead kick-offs, check-ins, and retrospectives, providing clear updates to internal teams and external partners.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance project workflows and implement best practices in marketing project management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in project management within marketing, legal, or creative content development environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex reports from conception to completion in a fast-paced, global setting.
- Strong knowledge of content creation processes and design/production cycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Skilled at risk identification and proactive problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (required).
- PMP certification or similar credentials (preferred).
